Bashkortostan took the first place in the rating of the effectiveness of the implementation of industrial policy in the regions of Russia

The results of the rating were announced today at the annual Innoprom exhibition, which takes place in Yekaterinburg. Bashkortostan rose two places, last year the republic took 3rd place.

Under the conditions of sanctions pressure, the republic's industry continued to develop steadily. The special economic zone "Alga", created in 2020 on the initiative of the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, also played an important role in the development of the region's industry.

The SEZ "Alga" was twice recognized as the most dynamically developing, and in 2023 became the winner in the nomination "Import Substitution" of the National rating of investment attractiveness of special economic zones. To date, 22 companies are residents of the SEZ. The fields of activity of residents are light, petrochemical and chemical industries, wood processing, production of agricultural machinery and oil and gas equipment. The declared investment volume of residents is 64.9 billion rubles, and the number of jobs is 2961.

In 2023, the territory of the SEZ "Alga" increased, it included the industrial park "Ufa". The total area of the SEZ today is 763 hectares. This year, it is planned to increase the territory of the special economic zone by another 106 hectares.
