Agricultural producers from China evaluated the infrastructure for residents of preferential zones of Bashkortostan
Agricultural producers from China were presented with the production sites of the Ufa Industrial Park. A tour of the park for the members of the delegation was conducted by representatives of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the management company of the Ufa Industrial Park and the special economic zone Alga. In addition to entrepreneurs, the delegation that visited Bashkortostan within the framework of the agricultural forum "Agrocomplex 2024" included representatives of government authorities from the provinces of Henan, Liaoning and Jiangsu. During the visit, the guests visited the enterprise for the production of equipment for post-harvest grain processing "Amkodor-Agidel", and also got acquainted with the territory of the park and its residents.
The last meeting took place thanks to joint work with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Representative Office of Bashkortostan in China. So, after learning about the Development Corporation and the activities of the Alga Special Economic Zone, which also includes the territory of the Ufa Industrial Park, colleagues decided to visit production sites without fail in order to explore the prospects for further cooperation. Thus, we were able to clearly demonstrate the investment and industrial potential of Bashkortostan," said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Following the tour of the industrial park, the members of the Chinese delegation highly appreciated the scale of the projects implemented by the residents of the SEZ, and also noted the importance of obtaining tax, rental and customs preferences for comfortable business. In addition, they noted the activities of the management company, which provides residents with all necessary infrastructure.
Recall that in June 2023, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation approved the inclusion of the territory of the Ufa Industrial Park into the special economic zone Alga. According to the results of the expansion, the total area of the SEZ today is 763 hectares. Earlier, the Government of Bashkortostan also announced further expansion of the SEZ territory by joining land plots with a total area of about 106 hectares located in the Ufa district.
