26.01.2024

The Ufa Gypsum Company, the initiator of the investment project to expand the production of gypsum and expanded clay, has signed a lease agreement for a land plot obtained thanks to state support. Earlier, an order to lease a land plot to an investor without bidding was signed by the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov. The investor will invest about 123 million rubles in the implementation of the project, creating 25 new jobs. The investment project is accompanied by specialists from the Bashkortostan Development Corporation together with the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Belarus.

It is planned to place an additional energy-efficient production line on the land plot, which is located in the Kalininsky district of Ufa, which will increase the production capacity of gypsum and expanded clay to 150 thousand tons per year. The expansion will significantly affect the volume of products produced and will make it possible to provide it to the consumer market of Bashkortostan and nearby regions. The launch of the enterprise is scheduled for 2025, Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, told about the project.

Under the supervision of specialists from the Development Corporation and the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Belarus, the project was presented to the Head of the Republic, included in the List of priority investment projects and recognized as large-scale. This allowed the investor to get a land plot for rent without bidding for the expansion of the enterprise. In addition to this measure of state support, the investor will also be provided with a corporate income tax benefit.

The project is very promising: a new highly efficient production line for gypsum, expanded clay gravel and dry building mixes will appear in the Shaksha microdistrict. Potential orders for gypsum and expanded clay in recent years have begun to exceed the capabilities of the production site, so it was decided to increase the existing production by increasing the area of the land plot. As part of the modernization, new technological lines, modern equipment will be installed, the territory will be landscaped," said Vladislav Sidorkin, Acting Minister of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
