Bashkortostan and Tajikistan plan to increase the number of joint industrial projects. This became known during the visit of the Russian delegation led by Roman Chekushov, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Licensing in the field of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia to Tajikistan. The delegation included representatives of the Association of Industrial Parks, the Russian-Tajik Business Council, business associations and heads of Russian management companies. In particular, the Director General of the Regional Development Corporation Nail Gabbasov took part in the visit to Tajikistan from Bashkortostan.

The program included visits to ten infrastructure sites in Dushanbe, Sughd and Khatlon regions, as well as meetings with representatives of government authorities and business associations of the republic. Thus, at a meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan Kurbonzoda Isojon Yatim, the participants discussed the possibility of creating joint industrial projects. In turn, the head of the Bashkortostan Development Corporation spoke about the investment potential of the region and the special economic zone "Alga". Recall that the agency is the management company of the preferential zone.

We have extensive experience in international cooperation and launching joint ventures. A striking example is the Russian-Belarusian plant for the production of equipment for post-harvest grain processing Amkodor-Agidel, which was built by the Development Corporation in a record nine months and launched in October last year. Together with our colleagues from Tajikistan, we are also ready to work on mutual attraction of potential investors and strengthening further mutually beneficial cooperation between the republics, Nail Gabbasov noted.
