The XVI International Business Week will be held at the Toratau Congress Hall in Ufa from November 22 to 25, 2023

International Business Week is a unique opportunity for government and commercial structures to discuss the most important aspects of cooperation and development. The guests of the Forum are heads of federal and regional executive authorities, representatives of business circles and official delegations from different countries, including China, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran and others. Last year, more than fifty agreements were concluded within the framework of the forum, and more than three thousand participants took part in the event.

- There are only a few days left before the start of the International Business Week-2023. Increasingly, Ufa is becoming the venue for major international events. In June, the republican capital hosted the X Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus, which gathered a record number of participants. Delegations from 58 regions of our country and all regions of Belarus arrived. At the last XIX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin said that the next, XX Forum, will be held in Ufa. It is a great honor and responsibility, we will try to organize this work at a high level. There is no doubt that 2024 will be a special year for Bashkortostan. The celebration of the 450th anniversary of Ufa will take place, a large-scale forum "Russia is a sports power" will also take place, in April we will hold a presentation of the republic in Beijing. All this together will give a tangible synergetic effect, and will also strengthen the position of Bashkortostan in the international arena," said Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Andrey Nazarov.

According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan, Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the region Rustam Muratov, the International Business Week is an important tool for the development of economic relations, activation of foreign trade activities, attracting new investors and strengthening cooperation with existing partners. The Forum provides a unique opportunity to present innovative projects and gain a place in the international arena.

This year, the main theme that will be followed throughout all three days of the Forum will be "The day after tomorrow". The business program of the International Business Week will be devoted to key issues in the field of business, economics, and investment. Each of the days has its own name. This was told by the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of Bashkortostan Margarita Bolycheva.

- The first day, November 22 is called: "The day after tomorrow through the eyes of business", the participants will discuss measures of state support, the laws of success of electronic commerce, business protection in the new international reality. The second day – «The day after tomorrow through the eyes of the SCO, BRICS and CIS partners», November 23, will focus on cooperation between the SCO and BRICS, presenting opportunities for establishing business contacts in the context of global changes. The third day, November 24, —The day after tomorrow through the eyes of investors» will be dedicated to new opportunities for the development of financial markets, the role of artificial intelligence in the economy and investment. What will happen tomorrow, we assume that the day after tomorrow, we will formulate together with our partners, discuss how to move forward, summarize the results of cooperation this year and reward those who have become the best in one direction or another," the minister noted.

Last year, the XV Anniversary Forum «International Business Week» was attended by over 3 thousand participants in three days of work, including: 15 representatives of Federal executive authorities; 89 participants from federal development institutions; 1.5 thousand representatives of business and business associations; 138 representatives of the media; 107 international participants - 107 from 24 countries.

- The International Business Week has become a professional platform for discussing and developing a dialogue between the state and business. The discussion brings together a large number of interested participants, and their number is growing every year. I am sure that the Forum will strengthen cooperation and ties between friendly countries, as well as allow investors and business communities to find answers to their questions," said Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
