The Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan shared its experience in the construction of industrial parks with Karelia

Colleagues from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Karelia visited the regional Development Corporation on a working visit. The delegation was headed by the Minister of the Department Denis Gurkov. As part of the working meeting, the participants visited the Ufa Industrial Park, got acquainted with its infrastructure and the work of residents.

To assess the scale of preferential zones, the management company of which is the Development Corporation, we showed our colleagues the territory of the Ufa Industrial Park, which became part of the special economic zone Alga. They also talked about the support measures that an investor receives after becoming a resident," said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. "I am glad that our experience in the development of preferential zones has proved to be in demand, and we have the opportunity to share it with other regions.

Colleagues from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Karelia were interested in the process and timing of the creation of industrial parks, their functioning, federal support measures, assistance from the authorities of the region and interaction with investors – future residents. According to the guests, they intend to introduce the experience of Bashkortostan into their practice.

After the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation on the work of preferential zones and attracting investors to their territories.
