The producer of oil and gas equipment from Egypt got acquainted with the conditions of production placement in Bashkortostan
The producer of oil and gas equipment from Egypt considers Bashkortostan as a platform for localization of the enterprise. This became known during a meeting with representatives of the Regional Development Corporation and the Export Support Center. The project provides for the creation of import-substituting production of oil and gas equipment using a unique technology. During his visit, the investor decided to get acquainted with the support measures proposed in Bashkortostan, the possibility of exporting his products and promising territories for the placement of production.
- We see great potential in cooperation with Egypt. Egypt actively buys products of the chemical industry, wood and pulp and paper products of Bashkir production. We see the export of agro-industrial complex products, metals, and turbojet engines as a priority direction in terms of increasing mutual trade turnover. We are also actively cooperating in the field of education. For example, in the past academic year, more than 1,100 Egyptian citizens studied in higher educational institutions of the republic. The implementation of this investment project will allow us to strengthen our ties and, in the future, attract new Egyptian entrepreneurs to Bashkortostan," commented Margarita Bolycheva, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
As the foreign investor noted, the localization of business in Bashkortostan is attractive from the point of view of the implementation of projects with the possibility of applying a wide range of state support measures operating in the preferential zones of the republic. In particular, he became interested in the sites of the special economic zone "Alga", where residents have access to unprecedented tax and rental benefits, as well as the operation of a free customs zone.
The prospects for the development of production in the territory of the SEZ "Alga" were emphasized by Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
- Bashkortostan is ready to offer investors all the opportunities for comfortable business. Especially for those who intend to produce products under the import substitution program. Thus, by implementing their project in the special economic zone "Alga", a potential resident will not only be able to apply for various preferences, but also enlist gratuitous support from the Development Corporation. Following the results of the last meeting, our specialists will work out the details of the project, after which the investor will decide on the implementation of the initiative in Bashkortostan, Nail Gabbasov said.
