The Expert Council of the SEZ "Alga" considered the investment project of the company "Fiber Nutrition"

On August 15, a regular meeting of the Expert Council of the SEZ "Alga" was held under the chairmanship of Ilshat Tazhitdinov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Within the framework of the meeting, the investment project "Production of dietary fiber", presented by "Fiber Nutrition" LLC, was considered. The company intends to build a plant for the production of fiber and pectin substances from raw materials of plant origin with their subsequent use as feed and food additives. with a production capacity of 5,600 tons of fiber and 1,500 tons of pectin per year. The implementation of the project will allow replacing the imported ingredient base in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The cost of the project is estimated at 5.44 billion rubles with the creation of 82 jobs. It is planned to launch production in 2026.

Also, the members of the Expert Council considered the application of the current resident of the SEZ "Alga" – company LLC "M Synthesis" - on amendments to the previously concluded agreement on the implementation of industrial and production activities in the SEZ "Alga". According to the updated business plan, the project cost has increased to 9.5 billion rubles. The investor plans to launch a plant for the production of cetane-boosting additives for diesel fuels by the end of 2024. The project is aimed at the development of related sectors of the economy, the creation of high-performance jobs, as well as import substitution of chemical products.

The Expert Council approved both projects.
