SUCCESS INDEX. Alexander Sheldyaev: "We have replaced 90% of all catalysts in the country"

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Alexander Sheldyaev at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum told how the sanctions turned out for the region's industry.

The first domestic drone was made in Bashkortostan

— Every year the republic presents something new at the SPIEF. This year we have focused on the centers of unmanned aerial vehicles, as today we are one of the leaders in the Russian Federation in production, creation, design and personnel in this area. We take an active part in the federal national project for the development of UAVs. And today we decided to show our joint achievements with Belarusian partners. This is the first certified domestic UAV BAS -200, which is produced in our republic, at the Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise," the Deputy Prime Minister noted.

The first 10 sets have already been produced. Tests are underway, flights are being made. And there is a big demand for the BAS-200. According to the program "Priority projects", funds of the Federal Industrial Development Fund in the amount of 1.7 billion rubles were attracted. Its first serial sample is presented at the stand of Bashkortostan.

Radio-electronic Technopark "RV-1" and the right computer game "Den"

Alexander Sheldyaev spoke about the construction of the radio-electronic technopark RV-1. The implementation of the project will provide 370 jobs by 2030, the gross output of the radio-electronic industry of potential residents will amount to more than 3.6 billion rubles.

Potential residents of the future technopark are companies from Ufa, Minsk, St. Petersburg. Contracts have already been signed with them. The volume of investments here will exceed 1 billion rubles. The project was selected for a grant from the federal budget (504 million rubles for 2023-2024). This is also the story of drones. We are making platforms to scale this experience. Today we are presenting them at the forum. These are common projects with the company Geoscan, and "AERONEXT", and with the developer of the digital platform "Fly drone", together with which we organize the "experimental area system", explained the head of the regional Ministry of Industry.

Within the framework of SPIEF-2023, the world's first National Cyberphysical platform "Den" was presented, which is implemented by the team of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

— This is a game for teenagers, a passion for programming through the game. This is connected, again, with technology, with drones - what is needed today. These are the cadres that we begin to grow from school," emphasized Alexander Sheldyaev.

Investments in the region

The Deputy Chairman of the Government of Bashkortostan noted a large number of agreements signed at the SPIEF, including two investment agreements with investments of 10.5 billion rubles. The region will support Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat LLC in the implementation of a priority investment project for the reconstruction of the L-35/11-1000 gasoline catalytic reforming unit. The new production will double the capacity for raw materials. The second agreement is on the intentions for the implementation of the investment project between the Republic and GEO GENESIS LLC. The investor intends to invest 1.6 billion rubles in the reclamation of lands in Sibai, which were subjected to man-made pollution during the extraction and enrichment of ores.

What tasks are in priority

When asked how the goals and plans of the industry have changed in connection with the latest world events, Alexander Sheldyaev stressed that the direction remained the same.

— Within the framework of its own and with the introduction of Western sanctions, we continue the work that we started in 2014. More actively engaged in import substitution. Our important partner today is Iran, we are working on a number of areas with them. There are agreements on petrochemicals, on the creation of a joint production of children's toys. Partnership relations with the People's Republic of China are growing stronger. Components for drones we take today from there, then we upgrade. Our cooperation with Belarus is a vivid example of effective relations. In the shortest possible time, a production site was built on 20 thousand square meters of the Amkodor plant. At the end of June we will open the first plant "Amkodor" for grain drying units. That is, having rallied in the conditions of our own and sanctions pressure with friendly countries, today we are implementing those projects that have not yet been in Russia," summed up the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Recall that the results of the National Rating of the investment climate for 2022 were announced at the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Bashkortostan has been in the TOP 5 best regions for the third year. This year, the republic has risen one more position and took the fourth place in the ranking.
