A resident of the SEZ "Alga" received a permit for the construction of a production facility

The resident of the special economic zone "Alga", the company "Farus-Synthesis", received a positive conclusion for the preparation of the site and the beginning of the first stage of construction of the plant for the synthesis of higher fatty alcohols used in the creation of paint and construction materials, personal hygiene products, detergents, as well as petrochemicals. Compliance of the project documentation and the results of engineering surveys with the requirements of the Main Department of State Expertise allowed the investor to move to a new stage of project implementation.

- Getting an opinion from expert bodies is one of the most important steps in the implementation of the initiative. I would like to note that the investor is systematically moving towards the start of construction and work will begin on the site in the near future. Let me remind you that the main consumers of the plant's products will be enterprises of the light, petrochemical industry, as well as manufacturers of cosmetics and personal care products. The implementation of the project will allow replacing imported analogues and meeting the needs of chemical and petrochemical enterprises," said Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Samples of the manufactured products were previously presented to the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov within the framework of the International Exhibition "Gas. Oil. Technology». According to the investor, Russian technologies for the production of higher fatty alcohols have outstripped Western ones.

To date, the investment project of the company "Farus-Synthesis" is the largest in the SEZ "Alga". In addition, it is included by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in the List of priority projects for the production of low-tonnage and medium-tonnage chemical products. The investor plans to invest about 14.7 billion rubles in the implementation of the initiative and create 400 new jobs at the enterprise. It is planned to start production already in 2025.
