The Bashkortostan Development Corporation has shown an increase in efficiency in attracting and working with investors in two years

The Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan entered the group with the highest efficiency of organizational mechanisms of business support. These are the results of monitoring by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), published as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2023).

These estimates directly affect the results of the annual National rating of the investment climate of the ASI, explained the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov. In two years, the Bashkortostan Development Corporation has shown high results according to several criteria and moved from the "C" group to the "A" rating group. The assessment was given by investors who work with the Corporation.

It should be noted that the positive dynamics of the performance of the Development Corporation has been observed since the team was updated in 2020.

In the future, we will strive to maintain our positions and find more and more new tools so that investors feel comfortable implementing projects under our supervision.

One of the tools that the Development Corporation was working on together with the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the region was the modernized Investment Map of Bashkortostan. It is highly appreciated by the National Association of Investment Development Agencies and entered the top 5 in terms of the quality of such cards in Russian regions. Another innovation of 2022 is the opening of an Investor's Window in the MFC, which was launched in order to optimize the way in the implementation of investment projects. Also, throughout the year, work continued on filming investment sites in the 360-degree format and improving the work of the Institute of project managers.

The National Investment Climate Rating evaluates the efforts of regional authorities to create favorable business conditions and identifies best practices, and its results stimulate competition in the fight for investment at the regional level. The national rating is calculated based on 67 indicators in 4 areas: the quality of public services, the effectiveness of institutions for business, the availability and quality of infrastructure, support for SMEs. Obtaining information on indicators is carried out by conducting surveys of entrepreneurs and experts, as well as using statistical data.
