Svetlana Malinskaya, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan, stressed that today public-private partnership (PPP) provides great opportunities to attract private investment in the creation of social infrastructure.

In Bashkortostan, the portfolio of PPP projects is about 60 projects with an investment volume of 88 billion rubles, including 14 projects at the regional level. Capital-intensive projects are concession agreements for the creation of an Eastern Exit and a world-class Intercollegiate Student Campus. The range of investment projects is constantly expanding in the republic. As part of the concessions, projects for the construction of schools, sports facilities, playgrounds, as well as other social and communal infrastructure are being implemented, Svetlana Malinskaya said.

Maxim Tkachenko, Executive Director of the National PPP Center, made a report on the trends in the development of PPP in Russia in the VCS mode. He noted that he is always happy to participate in the events held by Bashkortostan, as the region is always in the lead in the development of PPP and continues to actively move forward.

– I want to tell you some good news. In the near future we will announce the results of the urban development rating, it is published every six months. Ufa has shown one of the most serious breakthroughs this year, rising by 27 positions. "It was possible thanks to the coordinated work and support of the government of the republic," Maxim Tkachenko said.

It is worth noting that this week the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation summed up the results of the rating on the level of PPP development in the subjects of Russia for 2022. The Republic of Bashkortostan has improved its position, rising from 17th place to 6th.

Alan Bugulov, Deputy General Director of "System Concessions" LLC, spoke about the development of PPP in the social sector. He thanked all the participants for the opportunity to share their experience.
