In the Birsky and Kushnarenkovsky districts of Bashkortostan, it is planned to produce pharmacopoeia raw materials, which are necessary for manufacturers of health products. The investment project of the Stolypino company, accompanied by the Regional Development Corporation, was presented to the members of the Investment Committee during the regular meeting of the Investchas and approved for inclusion in the List of priority investment projects of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The volume of investments in the initiative will amount to about 100 million rubles with the creation of 50 new jobs.

- The concept of the project involves the creation of gardens «Wild» and «Barsky» in Birsky and Kushnarenkovsky districts. Its main goal is to form a unique pharmacopoeia and berry raw material base for Russia, which is necessary to ensure import substitution in the pharmaceutical industry. Thus, echinacea, black elderberry, aronia, white mushroom and cherry will be grown in the gardens in the amount of more than 1200 tons per year. Camping sites for agrotourists will be organized there by the investor," explained Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The total duration of the initiative will take 6 years. From 2023 to 2028, it is planned to lay perennial plantings. Starting from 2024, the investor will begin the construction of glamping sites, as well as the arrangement of infrastructure for agrotourism. All stages of putting glamping into operation are also planned to be completed by 2028.

As representatives of the Stolypino company noted, in addition to production, it is planned to create a competence center on the basis of the enterprise to train agro- and phyto-specialists from all over the country.

As part of the support of the initiative, the Bashkortostan Development Corporation has developed a financial model and a business plan for the project, as well as a package of documents for its inclusion in the List of priority investment projects in the region. Assigning a priority status to the project gives the investor the opportunity to implement the initiative in conditions of a special tax regime and a wide range of preferences from the state.
