More funds will be returned to industrial parks for the created infrastructure

In Russia, the mechanism of compensation for the costs of creating the infrastructure of industrial parks and technoparks has been expanded. According to the Government of the Russian Federation, the compensation standards have been doubled, and the limit for the return of costs to private investors has been raised to 75%, previously it was 50%. It is also reported that the Ministry of Industry and Trade will become a single administrator of such public expenditures for all types of technoparks. We are talking about specialized sites prepared for a quick start of production at the expense of existing infrastructure.

This decision is timely today, because now we are seeing an increase in the cost of construction and the risks associated with sanctions, which can lead to an increase in the payback period of projects, commented Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. It is assumed that the innovation will reduce the payback period of projects by half to seven years.

As Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation, explained at a meeting with his deputies, this is the first increase in the standards of such support in eight years.

The government document notes that for regions and investors in techno- and industrial parks, the limit on costs that can be reimbursed has been increased from 15 million rubles to 30 million rubles per 1 hectare of the total area of the park and from 60 thousand rubles to 120 thousand rubles per 1 sq. m. m of the total area of buildings.

For reference:

There are currently 18 technoparks and 12 industrial parks in Bashkortostan. The largest – industrial park «Ufa », the area of which is almost 300 hectares. It is located at the entrance to the Ufa microdistrict of Shaksha and is intended for enterprises of different industry orientation. Inter-site roads with access to the federal highway M5 «Ural » are laid throughout the park. Residents of the Ufa Industrial Park receive tax preferences, preferential rental rates, as well as quick access to infrastructure. The management company of the industrial park "Ufa" is the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
