The Development Corporation summed up the results of the work carried out in the areas presented at the last International Business Week

From December 14 to 17, Ufa will host the International Business Week, which will bring together representatives of the business community of Russia and foreign countries. On the eve of the forum, the regional Development Corporation summed up the results of work in the areas that were presented at the event a year ago.

- As part of the International Business Week held in December 2021, we presented virtual tours of free investment sites in the region, thanks to which participants were able to get acquainted with their main characteristics in an online format. Foreign colleagues were also interested in the innovation. For example, during the virtual tour, guests from Turkey were shown the sites of the special economic zone "Alga" and told about the conditions for the placement of production facilities on its territory. Thus, our initiative was highly appreciated by the leadership of the region, speakers and participants of the forum. They noted that the innovation can significantly simplify the process of an investor's entry into the region," explained Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

To date, the department's specialists have carried out a panoramic survey of 650 out of 1,560 vacant sites. Many of them are already displayed in virtual tours available for viewing on the website of the Development Corporation. It should be noted that this year information about the development of virtual tours was also published on the portal of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives "ASI Smarteka" and noted as the best practice among the regions of Russia for the development of entrepreneurship. In addition to forming virtual tours of investment sites, the Development Corporation, together with the regional Ministry of Digital Development, is working on an investment map of Bashkortostan.

- Together with our colleagues, we managed to improve the technical characteristics of the investment card, supplementing it with new options that provide a convenient search for a free site that meets the requirements of the investor. Our practice is also among the five most relevant to the requirements of the Regional Investment Standard," Nail Gabbasov added.
