The Bashkir Academy of Public Service and Management under the Head of the Republic of Belarus hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "II Makhmut Readings. Current trends in the socio-economic development of the region". One of the speakers of the event was the Deputy Director for Investor Relations of the Development Corporation Adel Makarova. As part of her speech, she spoke about the activities of the department and the support of investment projects on the principle of "one window", interaction with potential investors and measures of state support for which they can apply. The importance of the event was noted by Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

As a regional development agency, we are systematically working to attract investments to the region and strive to positively influence its socio-economic well-being. We also tell experts from related fields about this in order to further improve our work through an exchange of opinions. This is especially relevant in the context of modern challenges," Nail Gabbasov stressed.

The conference participants learned about the work of zones with preferential economic regimes of the SEZ of the Volga Federal District and the Ufa Industrial Park, the management company of which is the Development Corporation, as well as the benefits that investors receive by becoming their residents. The speaker paid special attention to the Regional Investment Standard, which is being actively implemented in Bashkortostan and the elements that the agency integrates into its work: the creation of virtual tours on free investment sites of the republic, as well as the investment map, which is being worked on jointly with the regional Ministry of Digital Development. Following the discussion, representatives of the authorities of the CIS countries became interested in the activities of the Development Corporation, who proposed to strengthen mutual cooperation in this direction.
