The Development Corporation shared its experience in managing preferential zones with the Ulyanovsk Region
A meeting with the delegation of the Ulyanovsk Region was held in the Ufa Industrial Park, the management company of which is the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The delegation was headed by Alexey Tsarev, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Industry of the UO, and it included representatives of relevant departments in the field of investment, tourism, industry and agriculture. The guests were told about the advantages of placing production facilities on the territory of the preferential zone, the activities of existing residents and the conditions for assigning the company the status of a resident.
- The last meeting is another step towards strengthening cooperation between the regions. The Development Corporation, as a management company of several territories with preferential regimes, has something to share. In addition, it is also important for us to adopt and apply the experience of colleagues in our work," said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In addition to getting acquainted with the activities of the park, the guests were also given a tour of the territory of the anchor resident - the Kronoshpan company, where they learned about the principles of the enterprise and its products.
The visit of the Ulyanovsk delegation took place within the framework of the training program on the implementation of the Regional Investment Standard from the RANEPA and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. The day before, the guests visited the republic's Management Center, and also met with the heads of relevant departments, with whom they discussed the activities of preferential zones and the procedure for recognizing investment projects as priority. In addition, the participants were interested in the institute of business sheriffs and the process of interaction with the authorities in terms of attracting investment to the region.
According to Alexey Tsarev, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Industry of the UO, during his stay in Bashkortostan, the participants learned about advanced developments that contribute to the formation of the investment potential of the region, ways of interaction between business and government, as well as attracting investors to municipalities.
Recall that in the first half of 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia confirmed the compliance of the Ufa Industrial Park with the requirements for industrial (industrial) parks and management companies of industrial (industrial) parks in order to apply measures to stimulate industrial activity to them.
To date, 14 residents and 7 infrastructure users are located on the territory of the industrial park. Now the total declared investment volume of residents is over 34 billion rubles and involves the creation of more than 600 jobs.
