Bashkortostan and the Ulyanovsk region have outlined points of development in several areas of the economy
The delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which included representatives of the Development Corporation, the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment Policy and the Ministry of Digital Development of Bashkortostan, visited the Ulyanovsk region as part of the training program on the implementation of the Regional Investment Standard. The two-day program included a discussion of various innovations in working with investors and visits to preferential zones.
- Together with a warm welcome, colleagues from the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation shared successful practices of providing land plots for the implementation of investment projects, as well as obtaining the status of a SEZ resident through the Public Services portal. In addition, our team managed to visit the first industrial wind farm in Russia, the industrial parks "Zavolzhye" and "Master", as well as the port special economic zone "Ulyanovsk". This is an important point for us, since the Corporation is the management company of several preferential zones. In the near future, colleagues also plan to visit Bashkortostan. We have already begun active preparations for their visit," said Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
During the trip, the delegates met with the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ulyanovsk region Marina Alekseeva, who announced the readiness of the region to cooperate not only on the agenda of the implementation of the investment standard, but also in terms of industrial cooperation.
As noted in the Bashkortostan Development Corporation, the last trip allowed to get more closely acquainted with the system of sectoral development institutions and successfully functioning preferential regimes, to learn from experience in attracting foreign investors, as well as to identify points of interaction in order to create cooperative chains of enterprises in the regions.
