The management company of the Ufa Industrial Park shared its experience of working with regions at a meeting of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia

The director of the management company of the industrial park "Ufa" Artem Penzin acted as a speaker in the thematic webinar "Choosing a site for the implementation of the park project". The online meeting took place within the framework of the "Leaders of Infrastructure Development" program and was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The event was attended by representatives of management companies of industrial and technoparks from all regions of the country. The management company of the industrial park "Ufa" is the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Thus, the head of the department Nail Gabbasov also commented on the opportunity to share the experience of creating preferential zones.

- The Development Corporation has extensive experience in the management of preferential zones. We are always happy to share with our colleagues information about various nuances encountered when interacting with park residents, authorities and resource-supplying organizations," Nail Gabbasov said. Industrial parks are high-tech sites where different types of enterprises can coexist. Therefore, it is important to understand and take into account various factors affecting the development of production in the preferential zone. In particular, we pay special attention to the selection of a site suitable for the requirements of a particular project.

During the webinar, Artem Penzin spoke about the specifics of creating a preferential zone, starting with the definition of the territory for the placement of an industrial park. Special attention was paid to the analysis of engineering and transport infrastructure when choosing a site. In addition, the participants discussed the issues of technical expertise of land plots and real estate and much more.

Recall that in the first half of 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia confirmed the compliance of the Ufa Industrial Park with the requirements for industrial (industrial) parks and management companies of industrial (industrial) parks in order to apply measures to stimulate industrial activity to them.

To date, 14 residents and 7 infrastructure users are located on the territory of the industrial park. Now the total declared investment volume of residents is about over 34 billion rubles and involves the creation of more than 600 jobs.
