Projects supported by the Development Corporation were reviewed at the Investment Hour

On August 11, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a regular meeting of the Investment Committee in the format of "Investchas". It reviewed new initiatives in various sectors of the economy.

The Development Corporation presented to the experts a project of the Ufa-Chemical company to create a diversified scientific and industrial chemical complex on the site of the SEZ Alga. He will specialize in the development and production of various additives and reagents for the oilfield industry, as well as fuels and lubricants. 360 million rubles will be invested in the creation of the complex. In the future, the company also plans to establish cooperative relations with other residents of the special economic zone in the field of petrochemistry.

Together with the investor, the specialists of the Development Corporation studied the potential demand for chemical products on the Russian market and selected a plot of land. Following the discussion, the Investment Committee approved the initiative. As support measures, the Ufa-Chemical company will receive preferences provided to residents of the SEZ Alga.

During the meeting, "Investchas" experts also reviewed an investment project supported by the Development Corporation together with the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkortostan - the construction of a cannery on the basis of the Meleuz meat processing plant, part of the agroholding "Bashkir Limousine". 100 million rubles will be invested in the initiative. The production capacity of 12 million cans of canned food per year will be located in the existing building of the cooperage shop and will create 25 jobs. The production is planned to be launched in 2023.

In the future, the investor also intends to expand the storage areas for conservation. The Head of Bashkortostan additionally suggested considering the possibility of increasing the range of manufactured products.

As measures of state support for the submitted project, the republic will reimburse part of the costs for the purchase of technological equipment.
