The Bashkortostan Development Corporation provided investors with step-by-step instructions on obtaining the status of a resident of the special economic zone "Alga" and the industrial park "Ufa". It presents in an accessible form the procedure of actions from the moment of initiation to the conclusion of a residency agreement.

Obtaining the status of a resident of a preferential zone always begins with the submission of an appropriate application in an approved form. Also, one of the mandatory stages of the process is the conclusion of an agreement on the conduct of industrial and production activities," explained Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
It should be noted that when applying for residency in the special economic zone, the project is considered by the Expert Council of the SEZ PPT "Alga", where the business plan is also evaluated. Thus, following the completion of all stages, the investor is included in the register of residents of the SEZ of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, after which he can proceed to the direct implementation of the initiative at the production site.

The Ufa Industrial Park is located at the entrance to the Shaksha microdistrict of Ufa. Its area is almost 300 hectares, and the sites are intended for enterprises of different industry orientation. The convenient location provides an accessible transport infrastructure. To date, residents of the Ufa Industrial Park are 13 companies with a total investment of 34.5 billion rubles.
A special economic zone of industrial and production type "Alga", created in the territories of the Ishimbay and Sterlitamak districts of Bashkortostan. The preferential zone is located on four separate sites, which makes it possible to place enterprises according to the cluster type. According to the results of the National Rating of investment attractiveness of economic zones of Russia in 2021, the SEZ "Alga" became the most dynamically developing among special economic zones of industrial and production type and received the status of "Opening of the Year". To date, the residents of the SEZ "Alga" are 12 residents with a total investment of 25.63 billion rubles.
