1. In September, a decree was signed on the strategic directions of the socio-economic development of the republic until 2024.

The development strategy of the Republic of Bashkortostan plans to increase the annual investment volume to RUB 500 billion. due to:

- formation of a transparent and manageable investment-conducting system.

- achieving a stable position of the republic in the top five regions-leaders of the National rating of the state of the investment climate.

- creation of two special economic zones with the formation of three thousand new highly productive jobs.

- attracting more than 100 new residents in 5 territories of advanced social and economic development with the creation of 6500 new highly productive jobs.

- creation of 50 industrial, agro-industrial and technoparks.

2. The Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan presented the special economic zone "Alga".

The presentation took place at the Presentation at the Fifth Anniversary Forum of Small and Medium Business of the SCO and BRICS countries. To attract investments in the republic, 5 PSEDAs were created: Belebey, Beloretsk, Blagoveshchensk, Kumertau and Neftekamsk. Including 10 industrial parks have been built, and three more are being created. A special economic zone is at the design stage. At the moment, agreements have been signed with 7 potential residents of the new SEZ. The largest petrochemical enterprises in the republic are located in the cities of Sterlitamak, Ishimbay and Salavat, so it is expected that the residents of the special economic zone will represent this industry.

3. In the industrial park "Ufimsky" a water purification complex has been put into operation.

The water treatment complex allows for the treatment of storm water from the territory of the Industrial Park in two stages. At the beginning, storm drains are cleaned on grates and grit traps, where sand and debris are removed. Further, the water flows into local treatment tanks with subsequent discharge of water into the water intake facilities of the Ufavodokanal. Now we can say with confidence that the treatment facilities fully comply with Russian and republican legislation in the field of ecology.

4. Three industrial parks of the Republic of Belarus were recommended by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for support in 2020.

 In the spring, the Republic of Bashkortostan sent applications to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for subsidies, and three projects "Ufimsky", "Center for Agricultural Technologies" and "Nizhegorodsky" were recommended for financial support from the state.
