The Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan has concluded an agreement on the protection and promotion of investments with the initiator of the expansion of the meat processing enterprise "Meleuzovsky Meat Processing Plant". The concept of the investment project involves the creation of a canning shop as part of the expansion of existing production. The volume of investments in the implementation of the initiative will amount to 152.5 million rubles with the creation of 50 new jobs. The project is jointly supported by the Development Corporation and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

We are implementing a program for the development of the food and processing industry in the republic, the first results are already there. The total volume of food products produced last year amounted to 2 million tons, or 111% by 2022, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus, Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. Of course, new industries in the industry have played a big role here. Over the past 5 years, 12 major projects in the food industry have been implemented in the republic, in which about 8 billion rubles have been invested. At the planning or implementation stage, there are 26 projects with a total investment of up to 24.5 billion rubles, including the creation of a new workshop at the Meleuz Meat Processing Plant.

Earlier, the investment project was presented to the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan within the framework of the meeting of "Investors" and approved for implementation with the receipt of the requested state support measures. The documents for the presentation of the project were prepared by specialists of the Bashkortostan Development Corporation.

As part of the implementation of his project, the investor intends to expand the range of products in order to increase revenue and overall economic efficiency. It is assumed that the capacity of the future cannery will reach 11 million cans per year. On average, more than one million kilograms of such products are consumed in Bashkortostan per year, so expanding production will be very important, said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

For reference:

LLC "Meleuzovsky meat processing plant" is engaged in the production of semi-finished products from beef. The company has organized a complete production chain: starting from the slaughter of livestock, ending with the deep processing of beef and offal.

The Investment Protection and Promotion Program in the Republic of Bashkortostan is aimed at creating the most comfortable conditions for investors making capital investments in the region's economy by reducing the requirements for investment projects applying for government support measures.
