The first technological lines of the Rossilber plant for the production of paints have been launched in the Ufa region

On February 16, in the Ufa district, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Alexey Besprozvannykh took part in the technological launch of two lines for the production of paints and lubricants of the company "Rossiber". They will become part of a new plant that is being created on the site of the Ufa Industrial Park.

The company "Rossiber" implements two investment projects with a total investment volume of more than 600 million rubles. We are talking about the manufacture of paints for pipes used in the oil and gas industry, as well as lubricants and lubricants for the metallurgical industry. About 200 new jobs will be created in the production.

Ilshat Hafizov, director of the company "Rossilber", said that the main site of the company is located in Beloretsk. On its basis, the development and manufacture of innovative products, including import-substituting items, have been established. When working with partners, the company's specialists take into account the individual requirements of the companies. Thus, protective coatings for pipes can extend their service life and reduce losses during transportation of oil and gas. Among the customers are large Russian companies. In addition, "Rossiber" is developing export supplies of its products, in particular, to Kazakhstan.

We signed the investment agreement on the launch of the project in the Ufa district in December 2023. After that, the installation of equipment and storage facilities began. The Republic has provided us with a good platform for this," Ilshat Hafizov said. Here we also create our own laboratories, including quality control. The new production lines will produce anti-corrosion coatings to protect metal structures and paint railway wagons. And we can store 7,000 tons of raw materials and finished products in warehouses.

It is planned to open a new plant in the summer of 2024 at the site of the Ufa Industrial Park, the management company of which is the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Up to 1,500 tons of paints and 1,200 tons of lubricants will be produced here annually. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, stressed that the support of such projects contributes to the development of new areas of the republican industry.

– The company «Rossiber» already has some experience. They did well – when Western companies started to leave this market, they intercepted it. And our largest oil and gas companies that lay pipes were not left without a paint supplier," Radiy Khabirov said. That is why we are interested in building new industrial sites. We already have 12 industrial and 19 technology parks. And with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, we are helping import substitution projects develop here.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Alexey Besprozvannykh noted the important role of production in the creation of import-efficient products.

The first lines of the new production started working today. It solves the task of achieving technological sovereignty set by the President of the country," said Alexey Besprozvannykh. With the start of full-fledged operation, this plant will allow replacing companies that have left the domestic market, as well as offering products that are ahead of their foreign counterparts.
