The Ufa enterprise plans to increase the volume of import-substituting production of telecommunication and server cabinets
ElCom LLC, with the assistance of the Industrial Development Fund of the Republic of Bashkortostan, approved a preferential loan from the Federal Industrial Development Fund in the amount of 200 million rubles to expand the area and production facilities in order to increase the production of telecommunications and server cabinets that promote import substitution. The total volume of investments in the economy under the project will amount to about 650 million rubles. With the implementation of this project, the company plans to achieve a target sales volume of 18,000 units per year in 2026. The budget of the republic will receive about 1 billion rubles of tax deductions, it is expected to create 215 new jobs.
The development of information technologies is one of the most important factors contributing to the solution of key tasks of the state policy of the Russian Federation. The production of telecommunication cabinets is fully correlated with the development strategy of the information technology industry of the Russian Federation and helps to create modern, functional and secure data processing centers, operator rooms, and server rooms. The implementation of the investment project initiated by ElCom LLC will contribute to the provision of domestic high-quality and technologically advanced telecommunication cabinets for the placement of gateways, servers, routers, uninterruptible power supplies and increase the competitiveness of products based on the introduction of new equipment and technologies, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Belarus shared industry, Energy and Innovation of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Sheldyaev.
At the expense of the Fund's loan, the company will purchase technological equipment for the production of wall and floor electrical, telecommunication cabinets and metal structures. All manufactured and planned products are import substitution products of German and American production (RITTAL, Schneider Electric), not inferior to them in quality, reliability and other technical characteristics. ElCom LLC will use innovative technical solutions that have no analogues for the production of telecommunication cabinets. The estimated market share of telecommunication cabinets of LLC "ElCom" in quantitative terms will be about 12.4% of the total volume of the Russian market, and in value terms - 50.1%.
Together with the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Innovation, the investment project of the company "Elcom" is supported by the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the department, commented on the provided measure of support and the prospects of the project.
When accompanying this investment project, our specialists developed a financial model and a business plan for the project based on the parameters set by the investor, which significantly influenced the decision to provide a preferential loan. I am glad that thanks to the support of the Industrial Development Fund, Elcom has the opportunity to modernize production and actively participate in import substitution.
