The authorities of Bashkortostan have included in the List of priority investment projects the initiative to build a new dormitory building of the recreation center and ski center "Abzakovo", the implementation of which is aimed at increasing the capacity of the room stock in order to organize all-season recreation for residents and guests of the region, as well as attracting more tourists to the GLC of the republic. The decision to assign the priority status to the project was made by the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, at the next meeting of "Investors". The volume of investments will amount to 700 million rubles with the creation of 24 new jobs.

This investment project is supported by the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the department, spoke about the progress of the initiative.

Due to the growing tourist flow, the Abzakovo company intends to build a new three-storey building with a total area of 5.8 thousand square meters. This will increase the number of rooms at the holiday home by another 75 rooms. The investor plans to put the facility into operation in 2026, Nail Gabbasov said.

Together with the Development Corporation, the investor worked out the possibility of building a hotel building on the selected land plot. In addition, the department's specialists have prepared documents for the presentation of the project at the meeting of "Investors" and further inclusion in the List of priority investment projects of the republic in order to receive state support measures. At the moment, documents are being prepared for the conclusion of an Agreement on the protection and promotion of investments with the regional Government.

As the Head of the region noted earlier, several ski centers of Bashkortostan are laureates of the national award "Mountains of Russia", and also stressed that the authorities are striving to actively develop this area for a comfortable stay for tourists by building guest houses, campsites, updating equipment and developing new tourist routes.
