A cement manufacturer from China intends to localize production in Bashkortostan
A Chinese cement manufacturer is interested in placing its production on the territory of Bashkortostan. This was announced by a potential investor during a meeting held at the site of the regional Development Corporation. The meeting with an investor from Inner Mongolia province was attended by the management of the Development Corporation, as well as a representative of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Bashkortostan.
During the meeting, the investor was introduced to the investment potential of the republic and the advantages of placing an enterprise on its territory. In particular, emphasis was placed on the possibility of considering the special economic zone "Alga" as a production site. Thus, becoming a resident of the SEZ, the investor is guaranteed a number of tax, rental and customs benefits. Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, also commented on the meeting.
As the recent business mission of representatives of the authorities and the business community of the Republic of Bashkortostan to China has shown, the interest in the development of mutually beneficial cooperation is mutual. In addition, we are steadily increasing this dynamic by holding negotiations and presenting the advantages of locating production facilities in the republic, Nail Gabbasov said. During the last meeting, the investor outlined a number of project parameters, according to which we will select a site for the plant. For example, an important point is the raw material base. Having studied the requirements for the volume and quality of raw materials, together with the investor we will work out localization and proceed to further implementation of the initiative.
Following the meeting, the investor noted his readiness for a detailed study of the project, and also became interested in preferences and conditions for the placement of production in the special economic zone "Alga".
