The innovative marathon in Salavat brought together more than 70 participants

More than 70 representatives of industrial enterprises of Salavat, Sterlitamak and Ishimbai, experts in the field of innovation, as well as students of branches of universities and colleges took part in the "Innovation Marathon", organized by the regional Center for Innovation Promotion with the support of the Administration of the city of Salavat and the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Innovation of Bashkortostan. Salavat became the final city from the cycle of marathon events in 2023.

The speakers of the marathon were Ruslan Shaimukhametov, Director of the Innovation Promotion Center in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Anver Karimov, General Director of the Industrial Development Fund of the Republic of Belarus, and Adel Makarova, Deputy Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Belarus. They told the participants about measures to support innovative projects at industrial enterprises, preferential financing programs, support and support of investment projects on the territory of the republic. Ruslan Shaimukhametov, Director of the Regional CSI of the Republic of Belarus, familiarized the participants with the grant programs of the Innovation Assistance Fund, the Russian Information Technology Development Fund and Skolkovo, which allow them to receive financing for business development. He noted that both existing enterprises and young people can receive assistance in the development of innovative projects. The state pays special attention to the latter.

- Today students have great opportunities for business development. Universities are implementing programs to develop innovative projects that allow young people to implement their initiatives from scratch. Within the framework of the federal project "Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship", the program "Student Startup" is being implemented. In 2023, 99 projects from Bashkiria were supported in the competition. The winners received grants in the amount of 1 million rubles for the implementation of their developments," commented Ruslan Shaimukhametov, Director of the CSI RB.

The Director of the Information Support Department of the Engineering and Innovation Support Center, Semyon Lunev, spoke in an online format. He informed about the conditions of participation in the grant program of "growing" technology companies for the needs of large Russian corporations, and also shared current statistics on ongoing projects.

Deputy Director for Investor Relations Adel Makarova told about the support of investment projects on the principle of "one window", the selection of investment sites for doing business and other services of the Bashkortostan Development Corporation. In particular, she drew attention to the changes in the investment legislation that entered into force in July of this year, thanks to which the requirements for new investment projects were significantly simplified.

Nail Gabbasov, Director General of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, also stressed the importance of holding joint events in order to interact with existing and potential entrepreneurs.

- The last event is an opportunity to discuss with the business community a wide range of state support measures in force in Bashkortostan. It is especially important to tell the younger generation about this. Thus, by joint efforts we will be able to stimulate entrepreneurs to initiate new investment projects in the region, in turn, accompanying them from concept development to full implementation," Nail Gabbasov said.

There are examples of successful implementation of innovative projects in Salavat that have received grant support from the Innovation Promotion Fund. At the meeting, Roman Bobrovsky, Chief Technologist of Hummel LLC, shared his experience of receiving a grant under the "Commercialization" program.

At the end of the marathon, representatives of the CSI RB and FRP RB visited innovative and industrial enterprises of the city of Salavat - the Digital Dental Center "Ural Cad Cam", LLC "PKF Optima-Expert" and LLC "SalavatHydraulica". During the working visit, representatives of enterprises and the Innovation Promotion Center in the Republic of Belarus discussed requests for innovative technologies, support measures, new opportunities for development and outlined a plan for further cooperation.
