Proposals to improve the work of industrial parks in the field of import substitution were announced at the Trans-Urals Forum
On June 3, in Sibai, as part of the All-Russian Investment Sabantuy "Trans-Urals-2022", a section "Industrial parks for accelerated import substitution" was held. The moderator was Maxim Pazdnikov, Co-Chairman of the Management Board and Director for Development of the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia. Heads of management companies of industrial parks took part in the discussion of the topic. As a result of the meeting, the participants identified topics that require careful attention from the responsible departments. First of all, these are methodological solutions that would facilitate the work of parks, in particular, the passage of the accreditation procedure.
- Industrial parks show their clear advantage for hosting future new productions. This lies in the fact that in the territories of parks, an investor can receive in the shortest possible time a land plot provided with all the necessary municipal and transport infrastructure, and in some cases even a ready-made production room in which it is enough only to install equipment and launch a new production," explained Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
One of the speakers at the section was the director of the management company of the industrial park "Ufa" Artem Penzin. In his speech, he noted that the development of industrial parks in Russia, in particular highly specialized ones, can become a driver of accelerated import substitution in the country. At the same time, it is necessary to create an infrastructure for companies similar in the direction of activity.
Following the results of the section, the participants of the meeting predicted that in the next few years the demand for industrial areas with ready-made industrial infrastructure, such as industrial parks, will increase. It is even possible to approach the point of shortage of industrial park areas in the next two years. Therefore, the regions need to pay closer attention to the creation of such sites.

The event is organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
