The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has registered 2 new residents of the SEZ "Alga"
The companies "Bioron" LLC and "Bashkalyk" LLC are recognized as residents of the SEZ "Alga" and included by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in the register of residents of special economic zones. A month earlier, the business plans of investment projects of these companies were approved by the Expert Council of the SEZ "Alga" and on May 11, 2022, the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan signed agreements with them on conducting production activities on the territory of the SEZ "Alga".
The company "Bioron" LLC plans to build a modern production facility for the production of Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) with a total capacity of 900 tons per year. According to the business plan, the project implementation will begin this year, commissioning is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2024. The declared volume of investments is 1.5 billion rubles. The production is unique, as it has no analogues in Russia. The second resident – LLC «Bashkalyk» plans to build a fish breeding complex for the cultivation and deep processing of sturgeon fish worth about 1.2 billion rubles. With reaching the design capacity, this enterprise will ensure the supply of environmentally friendly fish products to the Russian market. The successful implementation of these projects will contribute to strengthening the economic security of the country.
The SEZ "Alga" is one of the youngest special economic zones in Russia. Today she turns exactly 2 years old. On the initiative and with the support of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Faritovich Khabirov, by the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation on May 27, 2020, the first special economic zone of industrial type in the region was created in the territories of Ishimbay and Sterlitamak districts. Despite such a young age, it has managed to prove itself as the most dynamically developing special economic zone in the country," said Ilshat Tazhitdinov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Chairman of the Expert Council of the SEZ "Alga". The appearance of new residents in today's difficult times is evidence that an attractive investment climate remains in Bashkortostan. And this is the result of fruitful systematic work of the regional Government, the management company represented by the Development Corporation of the Republic, as well as local administrations. The special Economic Zone "Alga", thanks to the preferences established here for investors and its successful geographical location, is able to become a new point of industrial and technological growth on the map of the republic in the near future.
The number of residents of the SEZ "Alga", established just two years ago, has already reached 12 organizations. The total amount of investments announced by them is about 26 billion rubles, it is planned to create over 1.7 thousand new jobs. Since December of last year, its first residents have launched their production in the SEZ "Alga" in the commissioning mode - this is the factory for the production of LED lamps of the company "ZUR" and the factory for sewing workwear of the company "Arcade", which already employ more than 300 people.
