In Bashkortostan, an agreement was signed with 12 residents of the SEZ "Alga"
The authorities of Bashkortostan have signed an agreement with the company "Bashkalyk", which intends to open production in the republic for the cultivation and deep processing of hydrobionts of sturgeon breeds. The trilateral Agreement on the residence of the SEZ "Alga" was signed by the resident, the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the government of the region. Next, the company will be entered in the Register of SEZ Residents and will receive a corresponding certificate from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
- The investment project is supported by the Development Corporation together with the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic of Bashkortostan. On the territory of the preferential zone, the investor will open production with a capacity of 350 tons per year of marketable products and 10 tons per year of food caviar, having invested about 1.1 billion rubles in the implementation of the project with the creation of 28 new jobs, - said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. - As part of the support, we have developed a financial model and a business plan for the investment project, as well as assisted in the preparation of a package of documents for applying for SEZ resident status.
Recall that during one of the meetings on the development of industries, Russian President Vladimir Putin focused on the need to increase the production and supply to the domestic market of high-quality, affordable food products, including fish products. Thus, from the grown hydrobionts, the investor will produce semi-finished products and delicacies, as well as sturgeon caviar, in order to occupy a niche in the future and supply products to all regions.

The Special economic zone of industrial and production type "Alga", the management company of which is JSC "Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan", was established in the territories of the Ishimbay and Sterlitamak districts of the republic. This is one of the most successful economic projects of the republic. The preferential zone is located on four separate sites, which allows for the placement of enterprises according to the cluster type. According to the results of the National Rating of investment attractiveness of economic zones of Russia in 2021, the SEZ "Alga" has become the most dynamically developing among special economic zones of industrial and production type and has received the status of "Opening of the Year".
