The authorities of Bashkortostan will support residents of the SEZ "Alga"

The Government of Bashkortostan presented a package of measures to support the economy in the amount of 55 billion rubles. This was announced by Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov at an operational meeting the day before. The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy Rustam Muratov made an extended report, he noted that among the measures is the expansion of support for residents of the SEZ "Alga".

Here, the plan provides for the redistribution of funds for the creation of engineering and transport infrastructure facilities through the restructuring of budget loans. We will simplify the procedure for recognizing import substitution projects as priorities. We will establish a moratorium on increasing rents for the use of state and municipal property," Rustam Muratov said.

It is also reported that there are plans to introduce additional preferences in terms of increasing the terms of granting income tax benefits.

The Special economic zone of industrial and production type "Alga", the management company of which is JSC "Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan", was established in the territories of the Ishimbay and Sterlitamak districts of the republic. This is one of the most successful economic projects of the republic. The preferential zone is located on four separate sites, which allows for the placement of enterprises according to the cluster type. According to the results of the National Rating of investment attractiveness of economic zones of Russia in 2021, the SEZ "Alga" has become the most dynamically developing among special economic zones of industrial and production type and has received the status of "Opening of the Year". To date, residents of the special economic zone "Alga" are 10 companies with a total declared investment volume of over 23 billion rubles and the creation of about 1,700 new jobs.
