The management company of the SEZ "Alga" summed up the results of the work for the year
The Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which is the management company of the special economic zone of industrial and production type "Alga", attracted five new residents for the year with a total investment of about 14 billion rubles with the creation of 325 new jobs. It should be noted that the number of attracted residents exceeds the established KPI by two.
- We are constantly looking for new residents, for this purpose the Corporation's employees hold meetings, organize trips to familiarize investors with the site of the SEZ "Alga" - said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Currently, 10 companies have the status of a resident of the special economic zone, the total investment volume of which is about 23 billion rubles and involves the creation of 1,678 new jobs. Two companies have already launched their production facilities.
Recall that in December 2021, two companies – «ZUR » and «Arcade » launched their work on the territory of the special economic zone. The Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov gave the start of the work of new productions.
The company "Arcade" has opened a modern sewing enterprise on the territory of the SEZ. The total investment in the project is 680 million rubles. The social effect that the launch of new enterprises entails is invaluable, since the implementation of the project will provide jobs for 800 people, 140 operators have already been trained and are starting to work.
The company "ZUR", specializing in the production of lighting equipment, also began its work in the SEZ. It will produce a wide range of street lamps, metal structures, as well as auxiliary products. The total investment in the project is 300 million rubles and involves the creation of 46 new jobs.
In addition, the special economic zone "Alga" was recognized as the most dynamically developing and "opening of the year" in the National Rating of investment attractiveness of industrial-type economic zones by the end of 2021.
It should be noted that in 2021, SEZs created over the past 2 years were evaluated for the first time, while the same requirements apply to new SEZs as to the existing ones. The criteria for assessing the investment attractiveness of Russia's special economic zones are the number of residents, the volume of investments made, the availability of benefits and preferences for investors, the availability of infrastructure, the investment attractiveness of the region, the openness of information about the SEZ on the Internet and other parameters.
- Our plans do not reduce turnover and increase activity to attract new projects to the territory of the special economic zone, so 13 more companies are considered as potential residents of the SEZ of the "Alga", the volume of whose investment portfolio is estimated at 45.5 billion rubles and it is planned to create about 1,452 new jobs, - said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation. - Our task as a development institute and a management company of the SEZ "Alga" is to provide high-quality support for these projects at the investment phase, ensuring stable functioning during operation, because every successfully implemented project is the achievement of social indicators and the creation of new jobs.
